This was my second opportunity to play Blood on the Clocktower in the flesh, and it was a great way to introduce my partner to the game. The group of people we had that night had really good chemistry and we managed to get two solid games out of the evening. The storyteller did an excellent job at keeping everyone engaged and making sure everyone was included and informed. The only dampener on the evening was that it was a Beginner Friendly Evening and yet there were a handful of players I would class as 'advanced' players of BotC. While it's good to have more experienced players in a group to help guide newbies, it should really be advised and reminded that it is a beginners' night. The difference in experience can create a power imbalance when playing and potentially leave some players feeling overwhelmed or that they are not 'playing the game right'. Overall though, an excellent experience, and I would definitely consider coming again!

DM was very patient with us not knowing what the heck we were doing and guided us to make hilarious decisions. It was a super fun first experience with DND!
