'The branches of the Astral Corridor weave through time and space, echoing fractured realities once thought forgotten. The archivists of the Black Archives work tirelessly to catalogue these tales, reaching into the furthest depths of the corridor to glimpse what can never be.’
Black Archives is a TTRPG story spotlight event, as our house GMs weave tales from across the multiverse. These original stories are self-contained and setting-agnostic, intended for both experienced and newer players. We'll be featuring a variety of indie TTRPG systems alongside our regular D&D5E offerings!
Each session will feature it's own unique system and requirements, so be sure to read the full event description before ordering.
Tonight, the tales you can expect to uncover are:
HOUND OF THE SEA WOLF KING (HOUSE GM:
JAMIE)
SYSTEM: Shadowdark
THE STORY: The mightiest king of the sea wolves,
Skorgald, lies entombed in the sea caves; carried to Valhalla with
the hoard he won in life. You’ve heard his rotting head rests on
piles of gold, and his hands still clutch the bejeweled crowns he
reaped from those he conquered. As you row into the caves, a cry
goes up from your raiding party: if old king Skorgald is still
worthy of his hoard, then let him rise up to defend it!
Test your mettle in a deadly gauntlet for level 0 characters, using the Shadowdark system. Shadowdark captures the old-school spirit of 80s D&D, but using easy-to-understand 5E mechanics. Many of your characters will die ignoble deaths, but those that survive will reap gold and glory! No prior knowledge of the system is required; this adventure is designed as a lethal introduction.

Lateness: All sessions begin at the listed time promptly. If you arrive after this time we may not be able to guide you to your table. In these instances you will not be refunded. We suggest arriving at least 15 minutes before the ticketed start time for the best experience.
Outside Food: We are an independent business, and do not allow outside food or drink to be consumed on the premises.
Animals: We do not allow animals to attend any of our ticketed events, partnered or otherwise. This is due to sensory, allergy and trigger issues.
